The shadows flicker and dance on the asphalt
Such life in nothingness it seems The winds howl and berate the world Such a temper for something unseen The fire causes wounds and can cleanse others Such a benevolent deadly force it is The earth is ever-changing albeit slowly Such persistence for something so ancient The water rushes, swirls and undulates ferociously Such is the ways of the unpredictable The light is penetrating and seemingly eternal Such is the way of the stars.
