Today I know when the world will end;
Tomorrow I will have forgotten;
Yesterday never meant any harm.
This week I have goals to fulfill;
Next week I will have failed again;
Last week all my fears were founded.
This month the cycle will complete;
Next month I'll be contemplating suicide;
Last month I killed the old me.
This year something will change;
Next year I'll realize the change was negative;
Last year was positively wasted.
This decade I will finally succeed;
Next decade I will grow tired of success;
Last decade I missed everything I wanted.
This century I will have lived, loved, lost, lulled;
Next century is a facade, faked, and I'm forgotten;
Last century was the simplest of them all,
And the world ends when I die.
