I do take offense to that!

I take offense to the fact you felt it necessary to ask him to return for the purposes of debating! I have no desire to debate here.

He might just like to come here and be the droll fellow I believe him to be.

At first I was going to disagree about "droll," but then I re-read the definition:

"amusing in an odd way; whimsically humorous; waggish."

I guess he is rather waggish? He's definitely the former two descripts.

Maybe I will ask him; I'm sure he'll just geve another blank stare, but it would be funny if he popped in. At least asking him would probably be amusing again....

To my clone: MmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMM! You should post some more of your art-able things! ;)

The square book one and the last one are probably still my favorites, but of course the others are "100%," as well. ;)

Re: Hello!

Yes, o' course I agree with Sketch (with her humorously inebriated grammar )--this series of paintings has the best of everything. I also love how they almost look architectural in composition and rendering; that, together with the sharp contrast between light and shadow, they are Hopper-esque. ;)

He is the best! There is just something...(Insert elusive descriptor here)...about his work, much like my clone's. Work. ;)

That would be amazing. It would be a giant tromp l'oeil library...but with the one disadvantage of not being able to actually read the books--but instead ogle their many binding-able beauties. Awesome in its own way.

Yes, that would really be somethin'.

Or like a Chuck-Close-sized portrait of an aardvark's face. Who could escape that?

^ Oh, that is a good point about painting the words! Der. Getting 1 hour of sleep makes the mind rather slower than usual.

...Perhaps you could even have an "interactive" mural, in which you could actually turn the pages...to reveal the secret nornsense! ;)

(But then it wouldn't really be a mural, tromp l'oeil or otherwise. Oh well.)
