Moving to florida
Well this is how it goes. My mother is moving to Florida for school. My 2 brothers and me are going. My other brother is going to live with my dad. I have prayed and fasted about this and i got a god feeling about going. My friends don’t want me to go, but i think all friends are like that. Then talking to my dad and he looked like he was going to cry, holding it back. I don’t want to hurt my dad i really love him, But i think living with my mom is going to be hard but in the long run is going to be better for me. I just think church is going to be better. A new place to live, get to know new people. Now talking to my dad he makes me think.... should i really go? I though i knew what i wanted and then it starts to change. What would you guys do?

I trimmed some posts in this thread and made a couple of temporary bans due to what I perceived as direct threats based solely on someone's religion. As per the forum rules posts of that nature will not be tolerated, as the people who were banned should know by now.

And as far as your Father is concerned, do what you feel is best for you. After all, you'll still be able to visit him. My little brother(he's 10) flies to Kansas City, MO to visit my dad every weekend, and we live in Atlanta, GA. However, if you're still in high school, I honestly wouldn't reccommend moving at all until you graduate. I don't know if you've considered how difficult it really will be to have to meet all-new people and adjust to life. I'm -in- the South...it's highly overrated. The idea of meeting new people is a good one, yes, but do you really want to replant yourself this far down the road?
