My Personal Hatred of MTV

Taking the advice of not posting any "Hi, I'm new" bullshit, I'm just going to start off by the one thing that has really bothered me.

Is it just me or is MTV playing a lot more hip hop/rnb/pop than any other style? I miss MTVX, where i would have numerous cut-tapes of seemingly unknown bands. Personally, I feel that MTV would have a much greater audience with higher respect for itself if they played a larger variety of music.

Just my rant for the moment...

Like I've posted in all the other threads about MTV:

#1 - MTV sucks ass. They stopped playing videos and replaced them with stupid ass reality shows that have absolutely NOTHING to do with music. Yea...sure they place music in it...but since when did Frat Life have to do anything with music? Tailgaters? And whatever happen to the OLD TRL? TRL use to play the entire video...every odd video #. Now they just bullshit about random crap...play a video for 30 seconds and then talk about more crap. The only time MTV actually plays music videos...is when everyone is dead tired of watching their crap shows which is late at night. There's no use in supporting MTV unless u actually like watching their stupid shows.

MTV is stupid. No videos! MTV2 is awesome. As soon as I saw them play the Thursday video for "Understanding In A Car Crash" I gained respect for them.

mtv and mtv2 are going all out with that gay fucking rap. they are promoting mindless mindlessness. i hate mtv. my grandma even got the cable company to block it for us. they lost my respect when they changed MTV: Hard Rock to MTV: Jams. i said fuck this gay "yo yo nigger bling bling hoe" shit and stoped watching thier channels.

mtv should burn in hell.

MTV Blows!!!

Something really cool happened today. I woke up turned on the tv and flipped through the channels and MTV was gone and it was replaced by this kick ass music channel called FUSE that only plays music videos most of them rock videos. Apparently my cable company dropped MTV for FUSE which used to be MuchMusic but recently changed its image. This really made my day.

Are there any other fans of FUSE?

Yeah Fuse kicks ass. Uranium, IMX, Rockzilla...and some others I can't remember...are quality programming. Other channels should look up at Fuse, like an idol and start being more like them.
