lol..........snoop's performance really did suck, i think i switched the tv off for about 2 minutes while he was doing his set..

and stevenshanley i don't think it showed metallica the respect they deservered. Apart from the crowd (who definately showed some real respect to the band), the bands were probably payed to go there and even if they weren't they still butchered (sp?) the songs.......and they also showed a small film peice on the life of metallica which barely touched on anything.....

.....and ssiimmoonn, don't hold me to this but i think they have done (not including the unreleased new one) 7 albums, as i say don't hold me to this because there are rare albums floating around at the moment.......

Robert Trujuillo is a better bassist then Jason. All Jason did on bass was follow James' lead.


Metallica, besides And Justice.., hasn't put out anything decent since Cliff Burton. Burton truly was incredible.

lol, where are your sources? Jasin had many creative rythems. And how could you even compare a 6 month bassest to Jason, who has been with them for 12 years! Why are you comparing, there is no question who the bestter bassist for Metallica is

I think it's pretty strange how Jason and Rob flip-flopped bands where Jason plays with Ozzy and Rob plays with Metallica now.

Trujillo has been playing bass for years, with more rhythmn and style than Jason.
My sources? Just ask Jason or Metallica themselves. Jason felt he did not have enough creative input, as James, Lars, and Kurt who wrote the music. Jason left so he could be more creative.
