lol i like that kid witht he shopping basket buying heineken!

that's a neat pic. i dont see how a kid next to beer is bad parenting though

or trying to teach your kid how to point, aim, and shoot a gun.

Re: Bad Parenting

1. Babies and beer don't go well together in any way I can imagine.

2. I'm all for guns, but toddlers with guns is mindless. I sure hope it wasn't her mom taking the picture. There's nothing that little girl can learn at that age with that particular gun. She could barely hold it and I don't see a silencer. Developing ears don't need to be around noises like that. They don't make ear protection specifically for toddlers at gun ranges. Firing ranges usually have age restrictions for good reason too.

Absent philosophical considerations, common sense based on physical aspects alone dictates that man doesn't think well before acting; therefore he has no business being with toddlers and weapons in the same place at the same time. Loser. If he handed that gun to her for a second he'd be lucky she if she didn't shoot him in the face and think it was funny.

Re: Bad Parenting

I know a couple of kids at Walmart last week that could have used a nice spanking. Right there in front of everyone, I'm sure that would be the LAST time they throw a tantrum in the store.

Some parents need to be taught how to discipline their out of control brats. Tom witnessed a 3-4 year old attack a lady when his dad was trying to introduce him to her.

Alex threw a tantrum once at Ralph's grocery store, he laid on the floor, bawled his eyes out, kicking and waving his arms - full scale assault. I walked away and turned the corner at the end of the isle. When he realized he couldn't see me no more, he stopped got up and came looking for me. Never did we have a repeat of such behavior.

Re: Bad Parenting

I figure each to their own. Parents who don't go overboard with it seem to be able to make spanking work some times, but in retrospect it seems to have more to do with the rest of their parenting skills and the kids themselves. I believe spanking and physical discipline gets more credit than effective parenting does, but I also believe a spanking can get attention when needed. There are also some kids that nothing seems to work with.

The pictures above were only posted because Mike emailed them to me. There were a few others that are much worse but it isn't prudent to put them here.

wait, did you just make up this story for an argument against a picture that doesn't even show a baby holding a gun? She's not even holding it!
The baby doesn't look like they are living in the suburbs either. They probably don't have a neighbor for 2 miles. Guns can't be that loud if guns run in the family.
Common sense would dictate that a man disarm his weapon before handing it to his offspring; if so blantantly giving the baby the gun as you see.

the babies aren't drinking beer.

the baby pouring beer into homeboy's mouth...well he doesn't look all that cracked up to be a father, but then again if he is even the father, babies mom sure aint too smart neither.

but then again it is fun to judge

Re: Bad Parenting

Wait, did you just make up this story because you didn't read for comprehension again? I didn't say she was holding the gun. I said she barely could, meaning if it were given to her to hold.

As for the rest you barely made any sense because it doesn't matter where they live, though you are correct about it being easy to judge. Something you never do, of course.

"Guns can't be that loud if guns run in the family". What a load of BS *lol*

Babies and kids with beer is for losers.

No idea why you're asking me when you can only speak for yourself.

I believe grown ups are a myth and people age into very old kids with varying levels and degrees of responsibilities.

There is a difference between spanking a child and beating a child imo. I have seen some kids who need a good spanking, in particular, my cousins two children. They are little shits at family parties and embarrassing as hell when we go out to restaurants. I hate when people bring children to restaurants who cannot behave.

i'm with you on the screaming kids in restaurants, but it's really the parents that have been needing a spanking.

Re: Bad Parenting

As far as spanking goes, that's going to be a debatable subject till the end of time. I think assertive discipline and many techniques to go along with it is the way to go, and should be learned and utilized by parents and teachers. My dad was going for his teaching degree to teach kids music at Universty of Buffalo, and they actually had an ASSERTIVE DISCIPLINE course that he was required to take, and he is really good with kids overall. Many people unfortunately don't even know what assertive discipline or the concept of assertive discipline is.
