RIP Spades....
I was just informed..... that one of my best friends died... in a car crash.... That friend is Spades.. I dont know what to do... I just thought Id inform you all.. I want to call her house and make sure.. But I dont know what I'd say to her mother... She was at my house, yesterday.. and we were talking about the dance she was going to.. She was so excited... And then she got in a car crash... Im sorry.. Im crying.. I Miss you spades, I love you... RIP .... Two others were in the car you dont know them... RIP Todd, and Hope you make it Phil...

Man that sucks... i lost a friend earlier this year and its not an easy thing to handle... my deepest sympathy to you, her family and everyone who was touched by her... RIP Spades...

Two die in crash Police believe one car hydroplaned, then crossed over median By KRISTEN LIPSCOMBE At least two people were killed in a grisly two-vehicle collision on Highway 111 near the Victoria Road overpass in Dartmouth Saturday evening. Police, fire and ambulance units responded to the scene, near the Windmill Road and Lower Sackville exit ramps, at about 7:45 p.m. "We have two confirmed deceased," Sgt. Mike Spicer of Halifax Regional Police said later on Saturday evening. "One vehicle was travelling westbound along the 111 highway approaching the MacKay bridge. "It appears - and this is still under investigation - that vehicle may have started to hydroplane and it crossed over the centre cement median and struck another vehicle heading eastbound." Sgt. Spicer said the westbound vehicle was carrying three people when it struck the eastbound vehicle. He said both passengers - one male and one female - in the westbound car died, while its driver was rushed to hospital. The female driver of the eastbound car was also taken to Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre for treatment, Sgt. Spicer said. He said it appeared as though the side of the car that crossed the median hit the front end of the eastbound car, "but it's hard to determine at this point." Emergency Health Services spokeswoman Jean Spicer said the two victims were pronounced dead on the scene, while two others were transported to hospital. "We did transport one patient Code 1, so lights and sirens, to the Halifax Infirmary and an additional patient Code 2, non lights and sirens, to the same hospital." She said two ambulances and a supervisor's unit responded to the call. One fire tactical unit and a ladder truck were also on scene. Platoon Chief Paul Hopkins of Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency Service described the three people in the westbound vehicle "as young people," but could not provide exact ages. He said firefighters used the Jaws of Life to remove occupants from the car. Shortly after the collision, at about 8:20 p.m., heavy rain pelted the pavement and police cars lined the highway, blocking off traffic on Highway 111. "We have it closed on the ramp that heads up to Windmill Road and Victoria Road and we're going to close it very shortly coming the other way to do our measurements," Sgt. Spicer said. The blue and red lights of police cars glistened off the slick pools of water building up on the road, as numerous officers and a handful of firefighters in their reflective rain gear trudged through the muddy grass along the highway and inspected what looked like two four-door sedans. What appeared to be a dark-coloured Pontiac Grand Am was half-covered in a yellow tarp, its front end peeking out and lined up almost perpendicular to the eastbound lanes. Its back end and at least some of its right side were smashed in. The other car, which looked like a dark green Chevrolet Cavalier, had its front end crushed. Its two front doors were wide open and it faced eastbound. One source said a person was ejected from one of the vehicles, and one of the vehicles caught fire. "It is off bridge property, however our driver responded and kept traffic flowing for the regional police and waited for the ambulances to arrive," a spokesman for the bridge commission said at about 9:20 p.m. "Regional police and ambulance took over from there." Three hours later police still had part of the highway blocked off to traffic and were examining scene. Back I feel.. nothing.
