This is not a normal friday the 13th...if that isn´talready scary enough, also the digit sum of the date today is 13

(13th october 2006: 1+3+1+0+2+0+0+6= 13) i heard in the news that it is the first friday the 13th since 500 years with digit sum 13..uhhh hu
so tell me if anything special happened to you today and if you believe in those kind of things

Friday the 13th. Normally I like it, but I'm not happy about it today. I have to give a speech and while I'm not normally superstitious, I hate public speaking. What a day to give a speech.

My Friday the 13th is going fine so far, I took today off from work. Homecoming at the high school today. They will have a parade thru town at 2 pm with the court riding in classic cars, marching band, and not sure what else they will be having in it. I'm going to help braid some of the band members hair, they have to wear those big hats and have to have their hair pulled back. Later at 5 they will have a show at the stadium and then the game at 7, where I'll be helping at the concession stand. Go Royals !!!

i missed the alarm clock waking me up so i missed english class. my grade droped a full letter. something else happened but that ones personal. ALSO my aunt FLOW showed up this morning. hmm the day is still young. we shall see.

Nothing exciting ever happens on Friday 13th for me. It's usually just a normal day. BUT now that I just said that we'll either be VERY busy at work or EXTREMELY slow. Or we'll get robbed or I'll win the lottery. Yeah right. It's just gonna be another boring day at the fabric store. Probably have more bitchy customers that try and get sales that don't exist. Oh~well...could be worse. Like right now some dork is talking to me and trying to figure out if I dress up or not.

I had to open my Starbucks this morning(at 5AM no less) and I over slept meaning the store was closed until i got there.. -_- bad. the rest of the day seems promising though. We'll see

We talked about witchcraft and the European witch trials in European History today! Oh, 'twas such an amusing class.

Yes, my teacher intentionally planned it that way. She's amused by its origin and how today is the 699 anniversary of the capture and torture of the Knights of Templar (this event is supposed to be the origin of Friday the 13th). Indeed.

Now...let's just hope the unluckiness of this day does not carry over into my SATs tomorrow. Eek!

well, it wasn't my best of days...

went for a skate for an hour down the local skatepark and came home with:

- 2 gashes on my elbows
- bruised and aching shoulders
- bruised side
- had the wind knocked out of me twice
- been tossed from my board approx. 15 times
- landed on my head 4 times (w/ helmet)
- sacked on a rail (meaning: rail between the legs)...

ok, i hereby declare that i shall never again skate on Friday the 13th
