Albums Of The Year... So Far

Hey.

Just want to see what everyone thinks are the albums of the year so far.

Here's mine.

Deftones - Deftones

Tomahawk - Mit Gas

Grandaddy - Sumday

Serart - Serart

Population 1

Eels - Shootenanny

But there's still loads more kickass bands releasing albums in the second half of the year - like Incubus, Fantomas, Ill Nino, Sevendust, Janes Addiction, REM (hopefully), and Travis, so who knows.

So far out of this year's batch, I would have to go with:

'Sing the Sorrow' - AFI
'Deftones' - Deftones
'Fallen' - Evanescence
'Elephant' - The White Stripes

i agree. all of those albums are great. but i'd have to say instead of Deftones - Deftones i'd have to put Marilyn Manson - The Golden Age Of Grotesque.

I am going to vote for Jane's Addiction - Strays before it even comes out. I have the advanced copy and it owns everything made so far. Not to mention the albums they made before this are better then 90% of the shit today. The new Deftones is a dissapointment, so is Staind and Metallica. Shit, I haven't heard a great album since Lateralus.

311 - Evolver
Anthrax - We've Come For You All
Cold - Year Of The Spider
Deftones - Deftones
Marilyn Manson - The Golden Age ...

are my top five of the year so far...

I just got the Project 1950 by the Misfits, its pretty cool if you like old 1950's pop hits. In case your wondering what the hell Im talking about, the Misfits covered 10 songs from the 1950's.
