We should all be greenfags.

I took it a few months ago, here's my result. Hahahaha it's almost exactly the same as the result I got four years ago.

Yours means you believe in moderate social freedoms, and you're slightly left-leaning, economically.

Economic Left/Right: -8.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.92

Not much has changed. I took that test on Facebook a couple years back.. got roughly the same result.

I'm slightly more libertarian, and slightly further right. Not that far from where I was.

Silly extreme lefties.

Economic Left/Right: 1.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.51

Almost the outcome I expected. I expected to be just right of center, as I am, but I thought I'd be further down towards anarchism. Still, an anarcho-capitalist result.

Interesting change in juxtaposition from dum/repug and authoritarian/libertarian. That used to be blasphemy and conspiracy thinking :.) Snipes had more credibility.

Re: Political Compass pt. 2

I just found the application on Facebook. I installed and took it a long time ago and forgot about it. It also includes a few AS members who did not post their results here but are my friends on Facebook so they show up. Just match the name with the number. =P

My results posted above are more recent. I took this Political Compass test when I first joined Facebook so it's about two years old I think.

It seems as though I've grown more libertarian but have remained as right-of-center as ever. =P All my friends are left. I think most know I am right-of-center and they understand that. It is mostly from being fiscally-conservative, pro-capitalist, etc.

Andrew and Anna-Marie are practically in the same place as they're results above.

Look at Zaynab all authoritarian and by herself (at least in my cloud of friends).

Re: Political Compass pt. 2

My criticism of the test.
I don't think corporations have any social responsibility at all, corporations are entities formed to create business profit. Corps should be regulated by 2 things only - 1) it's the government's task to regulate them and stop them from destroying the planet; 2) and consumers in the market can vote with their dollars and refuse to give them to corps that act poorly.
And since I answered the multinational questions according to that position, I was labeled as slightly right.

That is laughable, I am left of everyone and was actually raised during part of my childhood by a real, actual anarchist (grandfather). I answer that an entity has wide freedoms and that is judged as a right-wing position, which is illogical.

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.15

I'm just trying to get clarification on your last paragraph...so you believe (outside of the test) that your political beliefs are further left than most people here?

Re: Political Compass pt. 2

Yes, I am so left that I am right. This is the problem with categorization. Modern day liberals are viewed as the sole owners of the left sphere and if you don't agree with them, you are labeled "right". That very concept is authoritarian right. I am left of most liberals and AS members.

Liberals don't push for any "new" change anymore, they got old. The anarchist in me wants us to start over and get rid of everyone in DC - yet I am labeled "right".

Of course somebody could cite my words from a Bush-Kerry exchange and claim it proves my ideas are not from the left, but opposing a Liberal candidate does not make me a conservative. I have no problem ripping in to a Liberal, that doesn't mean I agree with people like Karl Rove.

I do want to revolt against our current system and build a better democracy that does a better job of upholding our ideals from the Bill of Rights - is that not left enough?
