Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland"
Unless I'm really, really not paying attention or desperately horrible at searching, there is yet no thread for thes (this) film.
Here is its imdb page: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1014759/ And, more entertaining, methinks, some images that probably many of you have seen, but nonetheless: Mia Wasikowska as "Alice" ![]() Johnny Depp as "The Mad Hatter" ![]() Anne Hathaway as "The White Queen" ![]() Helena Bonham Carter as "The Red Queen" ![]() It looks pretty cool.

Re: Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland"
yeah i saw the 10 foot vinyl posters hanging from the ceiling of the cinema and about had a heart attack. Anne looks great and Johnny Depp just looks creepy as hell. Can't wait to see Alan Rickman as the caterpillar, lol

Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp in a Tim Burton film? How risky. How... untried.

^But how amazing. They really do good under Tim Burton. I enjoy watching them in Burton films. Also I heard Burton is doing a film adaption of 1984...

Not really, though; I guess Burton's (predictably strange, and, thus, oxymoronic!) ways aren't for everyone and wanting some variety is understandable. I guess that's what *other movies* or books! are for. ![]()

Re: Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland"
no, not bacon and eggs. it's more like chicken and wafles it is definantly an aquired taste. a taste that if you have for every meal becomes dull. i mean the only good thing about this movie is that crispin hellion glover has work. THAT"S ALL. tim burton is a no talent hack. and johnny depp is no-doubt going to be his usual mediocre self. and carter, does she get work from anyone besides burton? seriously she can't find work elsewhere because she is wretched. terrible!
what on earth can tim burton add to this story that we didn't already see from disney. a mediocre cast. and his signature dull and drab look that is as tired as grandpa after he farts. about as appealing too! anyone want to start a petition to end this monaughtanous cycle of awful

Re: Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland"
It's going to take a while to get enough people to sign your petition for the studios to listen to you. Even then, he'll probably put out independents. As long as people want to see his movies,(I, by the way, am one of those people) he'll keep finding funding.

^and in Hamlet.. she always plays mildly-psychotic roles, and she does an amazing job at it too.

Re: Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland"
i don't think she is anything special.
i think if tim burton combed his hair, he would dislodge probably the many endangered species that use it as a habitat. where would peta be about this...
