I search for a word I dont know in the dictionary, then try to use it throughout the day.

![]() Yes, I pretty much agree with everyone else: Read, write, and use new words in everyday speech. For me, actually using unfamiliar words verbally--in conversation--helps most in really learning them. It is also amusing to pull out a word like "spurious" or "gregarious" in a casual setting, like at work (for me), especially if there are sarcastic people present. ![]()
