Linkin park just rewrites lyrics not the beat

If anyone of you have gotten the cd metorea well Theres a song on there exactly almost the same as one step closer. I was at my friend Dan's house and we listened to supposedly one of their quote quote "New" songs i could sing one step closer with it. Now dont you think thats strange? I thought Linkin park was ok when I first heard them Now i think that they are stupid and they just want the money. They dont care about their music or fans in my opinion. But Linkin park now sucks! i mean i like some of their songs but their just in it for the money. geez!

i like em. well - i just dig their guitar riffs, actually.....they're catchy. And that's what they are, a catchy pop "nu-metal/rock"group.

Like i said its only my opinion. I used to like them as well. They got annoying after awhile to me. I really dislike that they didnt rewrite their music they only rewrote the lyrics...

i used to like them...it also got very annoying to me. The beats are the same...the lyrics are in [practically] the same context as before, & to be honest, i think Linkin Park will be gone in the next year or 2. In music, you have to explore new things...Linkin Park are not doing that.

thier first album was one of those "but it for one song then hate the rest" type of deals. they're in my opinion a TRL girly band.

i just like the dj parts. the only cd i got, didn't buy, was reanimation. Its good to listen to on a friday night. but i don't think id pay for them

actually, i have to agree. my brother got the new cd and i wasnt feeling it. it did sound too much like Hybrid Theory. and there is one song that sounds exactly like One step Closer.

the reanimation cd was aight. i think they fucked up putting that cd out instead of making the new one. cuz the new one now kind of sucks.

Some of the songs on the new cd are pretty good. But I think they are basically in it for the money I agree with you. Since the newest one sounds close to the first one and how there second cd was just all remix's of hybrid theory. Now I really like Hybrid Theory that is a good cd. But now I see what you mean. They do have a good sound and they are a good group but I am thinking they may be one of those one cd wonders. But they are really talented in writing lyrics. Maybe they are afraid to stray from a comfort zone in there music.

what i find ridiculous, someone is going to criticize a band if they do something like sell out, or what that person believes is selling out, and everyone argues or agrees with it. then someone criticizes a band for staying the same and not selling out. so can a band just do what they want and not be accused of selling or staying the same, cuz it seems like someone will criticize them either way, kinda ridiculous

Hey, if they're such a generic band and all of their songs sound the same and have no effort put into them, then why do they have millions of dollars and we don't? If it's that easy to write this stuff and be generic, then why aren't you all doing it?

Actually I kind of like Linkin park if they stopped copying most of their songs and having their songs sound the same. But everyone has their own opinion. I just think Bands shouldnt do it for the money. Sooner or later Linkin parks fans will die and they will have no income what are they going to do then. yeah, Linkin Park sucks bla bla bla. but there's one thing you have to admit. Chester Bennington can sing. He busts out some nice melodies in both CDs. On the other hand, that Shinoda prick shits all over the songs by "rapping".
