Hitler was abused and beaten to near death when he was 10 years old. Then he grew up a little bit more and joined the military. It was there, on the battlefield, that he found his true calling in life, so to speak.

Chemical imbalances and nuerological disorders aside, for a perfectly healthy individual I believe the personality is shaped largely by interactions, or the lack thereof, with other people. Being that a large portion of the brains developement is early on, where you spend a LOT of time with parents. I would give parents the vote for the largest influencing factor.
I think I recall a thread somewhere a ways back with almost this exact disscussion. Started by Zana? Who knows.

Hey Walking Dead should be returning, no? I hope they start killing people left and right. No more talking and setting up an entire season3 just so people won't die in season4. Fuck that!
