HI!

Feel free to share your assorted virtual doodlings from MS Paint or some other digital-art-creating program here, if you fancy.

Facebook has a "Graffiti" program, like MS Paint, only easier to use, and less pixil-y.

An attempt at drawring "Pippin" from RotK on said program.

"Frodo." The original pic. came from one of the "publicity stills" from FotR, methinks.

This one's obviously from MS Paint. It's an almost-complete "portrait" of my brother.

Incredible work, Rachael!

After seeing your output, there is no way, ever, not under any circumstances whatsoever would I attempt to compete with that. I can't draw a human face- no less a recognizable face!-under threat of death. My talent at drawing people goes no further than stick figures.

I used to be decent with mechanical drawings/drafting/technical drawings but that's been 2 decades and more since I sat at a drafting table. I also used to be able to draw pretty decent 19th century sailing ships (side view only

), but people/animals/living things? Nope.

o.o Amazing.

I have no problem drawing animals/plants/what-have-you, but people... I am terrible.
Also digital art and I just don't get along.

I'm all for a dip pen, India Ink, and some nice parchment.

I've only tried to watercolor, mostly when trying to teach my cub scouts - Art, i'm much better with crafts and such.

Nice, nice. I've never tried watercolor meself, but my sister tells me it's a tricky medium to master, indeed. Kind of like pen and ink in that once you make a mistake, it's difficult to correct or cover up (unlike virtual media in which corrections are just a click-of-the-"undo"-button away

).

Drogdar: Very nice. Although, it looks more like a seascape than mountains, no offense, what with the level, blue-ness and the seagull-like creatures and the boat-like structure and the--*ahem* nonetheless, I like.

I like MS Paint because A) it's free and B) it has infinite plugin possibilities. I use MS Paint... I stumbled across it online when I was trying to download Microsoft Paint to my laptop after it mysteriously disappeared.

Spicy Carrot, do you edit the original images in Paint, or do you actually draw replicas from scratch???

Well, the only one done in MS Paint was the portrait of my brother (the bo'um one in my first post). The rest were done using this odd "Graffiti" program on Facebook, which is *much, much* easier to use and has better-looking results.

But yes. All from scratch.
