I would recommend that people just use torrents for some of these things. I mean, rapidshare is good and all but sometimes a segment of a program or movie will no longer be available and then you're shit outta luck.

It doesn't take me that long to download torrents. It's all in your settings. Also, how many half-open TCP connections you can have. The default setting made by Windows XP Service Pack 2 is 10.
FUCK THAT! I allow up to 137. And so I am afforded many more connections. Search google for ways of "increasing half-open TCP connections".

^or just not deal with that and download it off the web... I have yet to not be able to find something this way... (aside from the occasional cd) every once in a while i wont be able to find a program... but they are usually programs i dont need and would otherwise get me in trouble...
