atdi - are brilliant! fucking cool, clever punk. my favorite album is proberly the ep vaya, its great.

faith no more - ive made my opinon quite clear. however, epic is a bit dull, worst song on the 'real thing' album. expand, expand.

i think this threads a good idea, but a 'MUST HAVE HEARD OF' rule should be implamented. i.e try and only post after someone if you can say somehting about the band, so no 'sorry dunno that band' replies.


also, this would require people to try and post when they werer listening to music about which they know.

i doubt this thread will ever work, because we all listen to different types of music, and most of us dont listen to the mainstream stuff...

ahhh, norma jean, i was a big fan of her first album, i found it a creative outporing, seemingly unstoppable, with tracks evidently inspired by a life of experincies; honest, emotional and so easy to relate to. i felt that the edge, that sparkle, that had made her so distinctive had gone by the time her second album rolled out; to the extent that it sounded like someone doing a poor norma jean impresion, her songs seemd predictable and dull.*

i think marilon manson is a bit shitty to be honest, he's ok, but i think to many people listen to him because of his gimmick ('wooohhhhh look at me, im scary') and thats a bit shitty, and has always scared me off. but i will give him a shot when i get around to it.
