They're only partly to blame in the sense that parenthetical statements should be used *more* often so that everyone could be more attuned to such whimsical usage.

The New Zealand info was parenthetical for Neill, and the info about awesomeness (or whatever) was meant for them both.

I meant *Neill* is from New Zealand (my sister and I actually saw his house in Queenstown [and Peter Jackson's house {in Wellington, of course}] on our trip there). Warburton, as far as I know, is not from NZ. He's just an individual I, too, find amusing.
