Lol, mine is in a state of renovation as well, it needs the bodywork sorting, hopefully ill get some time on it at the end of term. Mechanically its pretty sound thou the timing needs setting again, I bought it as a non runner in january and got it MOT'd just before easter :)

The goodwood (link fixed now), the green 309, was sold before christmas, due to getting to much vandal attention, just about the right time too, as everything went wrong with it shortly after i sold it! The grey 309 is at home now, I had always planned to have the spitfire as a summer car, but as it turned out I blew the engine in the 309 at easter, so thats definitly off the road until I can fit the mi16. One day....

well considering the only shots we have is a dent in the door an a scratch on the rim its a lil hard for us to see where you get "Whole drivers side is fucked up"...

an yeah I could actually beat that panel back into the right form...shit thats what most bodyshops will do...cheaper than replacing the part...trust me I know about this, I worked at a very large firm over her in the uk an thats exactly what we would do...If it was too damaged we would replce it, but in your case we would just beat that panel out......an you never mentioned the twisted axle....

And yeah I have passion about my guitars, but you know what...I gig them, meaning that they will get scatched an dented....but who fucking cares as long as it still plays an makes a sound who cares about the paintwork...fuck it, I play...I dont collect them to have them shiny an new...

haha well this thread is not about my car being fucked up its about our rides, i just stated that my drivers side is fucked up, and that i had a couple pictures, the truth is that it is all fucked up even if the pictures dont show it. the axle is fucked up because he crashed right into the rim, but i didnt think this was nessesary info because once again the thread is not about my car lol, im not looking for pity or anything... this is my ride in the current condition is all im saying. no you cant beat that into place and get the exact lines, and i would know because i have worked at a body shop for a while and saw waht those guys were doing and my dad worked at abody shop maybe for 5 years of his life, beating it wouldnt help you have to work it and no i know there not just gonna replace the part but there going to get it back into shape one way or another... the dent goes through a major body line, hitting it w/ a hammer or something would make it look extreemly awkward and it would lose more paint.

anyway the scratches dents and all go all the way from the back rim to the front, fucked up my body kit, both doors a rim an axle and some other stuff that i bougt with some hard earned money, kinda sucks to have it fucked up by some bastard that just runs off, and it kinda sucks that insruance is fucking bullshit...

i had n2o on my cougar but i didnt have a button it engaged when i was a full throttle, it became to expensive :evil: after a while and my hoses were much more messy... or maybe this is just the first step mounting the bottle? lol it was a bitch to get through the firewall.

Yep, thats all I got done yesterday, wiring the switches and mounting the bottle. Today I'll more than likely be working on mounting ,wiring and hooking up the vacuum lines for the nitrous management unit, and wiring the purge kit.

This system engages at full throttle, the NMU taps into the throttle position sensor, then enguages when it gets over like 4.1volts. The flip switch arms the system, and the push button is for the purge. And I probably will run the nitrous line straight down, since it seems the easiest way to go.

Lil over 500 for the kit, bout 115 for the purge kit, and like 50 bucks for the bottle pressure guage.

I've got a pair '93 Mazda MX-6s, one is in good shape and the other has a blown valve and sits around waiting to sacrifice its innards for the running car. I also have an '84 Pontiac Fiero that runs, but it isn't registered or insured, so it isn't legal to drive. The Fiero is by far my favorite, because it's all kinds of white trash awesome.
