@ spadetje: Even though I hate spiders I had a black window for a pet, I can't remember what I named it though. I had a great time feeding it crickets and grasshopers every week or two. First I would have some fun though and launch the critters in my payload Estes rocket about 200 feet in the air, I figured they were going to be eatin anyway. I was cruel as a child..

@ Mystika: I hate those things. One time one jumped off my roof as I was walking along the side of my house and landed on my shoulder. it was night time so I couldnt see what it was but I felt its web brush against my face and when I got into some light I saw it crawling up my shoulder towards the inside of my shirt. Basically then I freaked out and ran screaming around the neighborhood. I found the spider and tried every kind of poison I could find on it and finally gave up and glued it to the sidewalk with elmers. :evil:

...How cruel...but I probably would have done the same thing. In the day time, I probably would have glued it and then burned it slowly using a magnifying glass

nice one, i once froze a spider in a pile of snow for 2 weeks, and when I removed the snow and warmed it up, it was still alive, im wondering how you give them a long and painful death (other then the glue and magnifying glass)

the third shot is just a close up of the second shot, but as to the first pic that could be a photoshop it just looks too wierd to be normal.....but regardless of if it is photoshopped or not that 'thing' still creeps the fuck out of me................

hell no. not fake. ive had run-ins with spiders just like that. fast little fuckers too. longer legs for speed i guess. the come into your house thru the air ducts in summer and winter where i used to live cause it would get so hot or cold. before i moved i would see about 5 or 6 a year. lived by some woods.. :paranoid:

EXCEPT FOR SPIDERS! they scare the living shit out of me, this morning, i went to put on my pants AND THIS HUGE FUCKING SPIDER CRAWLED OUT AND MADE ME NEARLY SHIT MYSELF!!!! it was about as big as a 10 cent coin (im from australia :P) but dammit, i didnt have my contacts in, so i had to get up real close to see what the brown blur was, then it jumped at me, i could see every hair on its body and i freaked out, i was screaming like a little maniac, it scared me shitless,
i've had many run ins with spiders and i am scared shitless of em,
snakes however i think are awesome, and i have the pictures to prove it :P i have pictures of diamond pythons and other such snakes crawling all over me i love snakes,

i was in my hotel room up the sunshine coast a couple of years ago, and i was about to get into bed and at the last minute i spotted a redback spider right in the middle of my bed. for anyone who doesn't know, redbacks are really deadly spiders, and can kill you in minutes. i shit myself numerous times (not literally :wink: ) and got the spider out and was paranoid for the rest of the holiday.
