I was poking around in the results of a Google on "word count short story" and found a writer's workshop kind of place with all sorts of articles relating to the writer's trade. One of the toys on the "widgets" page is a "Random Line Generator":
papayawhip carnivals jambouree garden faded sulky star storm drain
keylime requiem nightsong french gold numbing secret garden melt pools
honeydew poses starry river shine flows cornsilk shooting star
And so on... You get the idea.
Oh, the place is called Language Is A Virus (http://www.languageisavirus.com/randomlinegenerator.html).
