The recession.

I have recently gained a job building as I train for my final destination as a teacher and I must add that I must be one of the luckiest sods alive. I think I am the only person to walk in to this sort of job in the last 3 months. Whilst one person gets a job its sad that another will lose one. My other half and many of her co-workers will sadly be laid off this friday and its just sad.

I think that my other half is lucky given that she does not have to run her own home or have kids to raise and I honestly feel for those in her work place and hundreds of thousands of other people across britain that want to work and will be made redundant in the coming weeks.

Is anyone having a knock on in america. I only hope that you aint getting it in the neck you lot.

most part-time jobs won't fire you.. they'll just cut your hours. So I'm skraight. At least for now.

I have a decent job at school, but no one will hire for "just the summer". It's fucking frustrating. Good on you for getting the building job, though. Hopefully you'll be a teacher in no time.
