Since I'm such a weirdo with my sleepwalking & talking I was wondering if anyone else has any funny stories with their sleepwalking experiences.

Don't laugh, mine are:

Walking out to the front gate in my pj's trying to go to the show. Mum caught me... thank god!
Mum caught me touching the wall and yelling at it. Apparently I thought it was an ATM and it wasn't giving me my money...
Opening my draws saying "sorry we don't have any of those cigarettes at the moment"- i work at checkouts
I walked into my sister's room and started pulling at her skin saying "it isn't coming off!". She was sooooooo freaked out.
I pulled all my bed sheets, doona, pillow slips EVERYTHING off, and put it in a pile in the kitchen. then I went back to bed and went to sleep on a bare bed. I was sooo confused. I thought I had been abused or something....so freaky...
this one casued me the most shame.....I was on a school trip in sydney. We were in dorms at a backpakers hostel. Anyways I fell asleep and all was well. Except in the middle of the night I found myself over one of the girls beds, at their feet trying to kick them out. i was saying "this is my bed!". she was freaked to say the least. thank god she was the onlty one awake. but she was yelling at me......the whole school heard about that one....
Lotsa times where I've woken up in different clothes....or no clothes...
LOTS MORE! too embarrasing.....:paranoid: :ponder:

Haha! Those ones are cool Sazz!

I wish i had cool sleeping stories like that

I don't have time to put heaps now, but one time, i was sleeping, and saying "My foot needs a drink! It's soooo thirsty!! It really needs a drink! Can you get my foot a drink" hahaha. And they said i was saying it for ages

I'll post more stories later.

I used to wake up at the bottom of the stairs curled up in a ball. Those were scary stairs too!

I've never sleepwalked, but when I was a kid I remember I was having this dream that I was sitting in class with my hand raised and my teacher wouldn't call on me. I woke up and I had my hand raised and was losing feeling in that arm.

When I buckled two of my fingers and sprained two more on my left hand, the doctors just put me in a splint type thing with an ace bandage around it. Every time I went to sleep with it on I woke up with it off and I'd be scratching my fingers as I slept.

That's about all of my exciting sleeping stories.

I used to sleep walk all the time when I was a child! I fell down the stairs a couple times. Once I went around my house screaming for my cat when he was sleeping on my bed the whole time, it really scared my mom that is for sure.
But mine are nothing compared Sazz! Those were great!
Oh but there was this one time that I went downstairs, poured myself milk, drank the milk then through the glass across the room... it is weird because I do not remember any of this, my mom and friends have just told me.

i once (i was 4) went upstairs to the living room and slept there. There were roughly 3 doors locked.

I usually sleep on one end of the bed and then i wake up on the other.

And once, in a cheap motel, i was tired...the TV inthere was so old...it didnt have a remote, and i thought it did, and tried to turn the channel with a notepad screaming "I'M TURNING THE CHANNEL...ITS OK I CAN DO IT!!!"

hahaha, nice stories.

i don't walk in my sleep. i have a few times, and just been really confused when i wake up downstairs on the couch. nothing too funny. i talk in my sleep all the time though, apparently. i think i mutter too much for anyone to understand me though.

when my mom was little, supposedly, she got up from her bed and went and peed in her toy box. and my brother peed when he was 4 or something.

Erm, i've never sleepwalked. i tend to make some funny noises some times. not just snoring, wierd groans and stuff.
i've also woke myself up by giggling... really high pitched giggling, like a lil boy.

my brother sleep walked once when we were all younger... much much younger. he got up, walked over to my bunk and started peeing. NOT funny!

I don't walk in my sleep, but I do tend to talk...

I once slept over at my best friends house... apparently in the middle of the night I woke her up with shrieks along the lines of, "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE YOU NO-GOOD, LYING, SON OF A BITCH! GET OUT RIGHT NOW!!! I SACRIFICED EVERYTHING FOR YOU, AND NOW LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE DONE!!!" And, as she states, I pushed her roughly out of her bed and started crying profusely on her shoulder...

that was too much for her... she threw a glass of icy water all over me...

The ironic thing was, as far as I remember, the dream I had that night was nothing about yelling at someone, it was about flying...

I don't really sleepwalk much, but I do wake up after having dreams without knowing that I was dreaming.

- I flew out of bed one morning and got dressed in a screaming hurry before realizing that it was pitch dark outside and I didn't have class until 10 in the monring.

- Dreamed that I was falling, woke up with a start, and then actually fell out of bed.

- Dreamed that there was a spider in my bed (we have brown recluses eep ), then woke up and tore all the covers off my bed and flipped the mattress out into the hall looking for it before waking up enough to realize I was dreaming.

- I sleep in my side, so sometimes I shift onto my arm and cut off circulation for so long that my arm goes so numb that I can't even move it. Once this happened and I thought there was something else in my bed. I couldn't get it off of me, at which point I went for the door in sleepily-befuddled panic. When I tried to open the door with my numb hand it finally dawned on me.

Hehe. Nice stories. It's slightly worse at times for the person who's awake witnessing it. :paranoid:

I walked into my sister's room and started pulling at her skin saying "it isn't coming off!". She was sooooooo freaked out. I deeply empathize with your sister, for my sister has frightened me in her sleep as well.

On several occasions, she's sat up in her freaky, squinty-eyed fashion and just spoke to me. But once, I had come in after she'd been asleep for some time, and I was in the process of procuring socks from the basket at the end of the bed. I looked up, socks in hand, and she was sitting up gawking in a zombie-like way at me. I literally shrieked and fell back in alarm (not waking her up, of course). She then explained to me that we were out of paper bags. Ye-ah...

She also lunged at me once in her sleep. It was like the Grudge, only without the funny clicking noises...

My little sister never scares me when she does stuff like that in her sleep. I was downstairs getting a drink once, and I peeked in her room and saw her sitting up, looking at me in her sleep. I said 'Lay down, Abigail' and she mumbled 'but...the clowns.....' and laid back down, somewhat reluctantly. hahahaha.

I hate clowns...:paranoid: Your sister was right to be flustered by them, even whilst she slept.

Eventually, I did become accustomed to my sister's antics, to the point where we were nearly having casual conversations while she slept. Not surprising, really... :ponder:

About a year ago, I got dressed, climbed out of my bedroom window, scraped some leaves into a pile, climbed back into my room, and went to bed. I've also changed the toilet paper, and once I apparently almost pissed in the bathroom sink, before my dad stopped me. Heheh. Weird.

I can empathise with that. I sleep on my stomach with my arms underneath myself ot the pillow. One night my arms when totally dead and I couldn't move them at all. Half asleep, I thought I'd lost my arms, so I rolled outta bed and ran through the house screaming "My arms are dead!!! I've lost my arms!". I woke both my sis and mum up on that one.

Oh and yea apparently I do look like a zombie, very creepy.....And I also get agressive apparently. Mum has become an expert at calming me down.

Just last night I was talking again saying "yes sir I 'll get that for you straight away".

God help me if I move in with anyone....

Whenever I wake up with a bug in my bed or dream that there is one, I never sleep quite right unless I find it and goosh it. Even if I squash one all the way across the house, that will make me feel right enough to sleep again.

arggg i did it again. i completely changed wat i was wearing...

Plus now it seems my sister has started sleep talking. Maybee the weirdo sleep walking trend runs in our family....:paranoid: :ponder:

Seriously does anyone know why people sleepwalk, it'd be intersting to know.

There was one time I talked in my sleep while a friend was over, he didn't catch what I said though.

Almost EVERY night when I was about 9 I would wake up at the opposite end of my bed.

Other than that I woke up, went to the kitchen, opened the freezer, took out the ice cream, ate some, left it on the counter (opened), and went back to bed. Strangely I didn't remember a thing. Hmmm....

I was sleep walking (the only time I know of) and I went into the kitchen and my dad asked me, "What are you doing?" I said "Going to the bathroom." Then I walked into the bathroom and he asked, "What are you doing?" I said "Getting a drink." Then I went back to bed. I didn;t actually do anything....just walked into the room.

I tend to wake up to myself laughing. Sometimes I wake up crying (wouldn't surprise me if I was hitting things before waking). I also tend to sleep to the point of almost whole body paralization. Or at least to the point of great pain while moving. Nothing like not being able to sit up due to cramps in the back/neck/arms. My body does weird things.

you're telling me, i lose total control over my body at night. If someone knew how they could get me to do anything  Come to think of it, my dad and his sister used to have in depth conversations in their sleep and not remember a thing. how weird...

That's craziness! I've heard that most people grow out of that sort of thing when they reach their 20's or so, but I could be wrong...

A few nights ago I was groaning in my sleep. Not what you're thinking (:bored:), but as if I was being stabbed or something. Curious... :ponder:

i hear it's caused by chemical imbalance and having poor nervous state: depression or anxiety.

i'm terrified of sleepwalking. to my knowledge, i've only sleepwalked once. i dreamt i brought a kitchen knife to my room and put it under my pillow. when i woke up, a fucking kitchen knife was under my pillow. i'm just afraid that i'll pull a scott falater in my next sleepwalking episode.

that makes sense I guess. I used to sleep walk most just b4 exams when i was worried. I don't do it as 'hardcore' as I used to tho...and I can't say I've ever moaned.....But i could be wrong.

When I was younger I used to sleepwalk and sleeptalk... When we moved out to Kuwait, I used to get up in the middle of the night (apparantly) and turn on all the lights and then go back to sleep.

me and my brother share a room (not any more though! woohoo) i remember one time that my brother was sleeping, i was working at my desk in the room and i heard my little brother talkin, so i had a conversation with him..it went sumthing like this:

brother: yeh
me: what the fuck?
brother: ok then
me: hmm
brother: kick his ass!
me: whos ass?
brother: fuck yes!
me: no swearing
brother: shit, sorry man
me: its ok...
brother: where were we?
me: you were just kicking someones ass
brother: oh yeh
me: ill leave you to it then
brother: ow you asshole!
me: fuck you!
brother: god damn it man i cant see!!

then he got up and walked towards the [closed] door and ran right into it, collapsed to the floor, and woke up. he saw me laughing and he's like..whats so funny? i explained the whole thing to him and he laughed and went right back to sleep haha

that was wierd!

I'm a bit of a nightmare in my sleep sometimes....have sleptwalked (is that a word?) since I was really young... I have been known to pull everything out the cupboard too (on two occassions).... have slept curled up on my pillow too because I dreamt there were jellyfish in my bed....

Most recent time was... sometime last year when I looked up and saw a door on the ceiling collapsing... so I woke my friend up in a total panick (who was in the same room) and because she wasn't believing me I dragged her by the leg out of bed..... she was none too impressed with me...!!!

I always wake up in the middle of it.... realise whats going on and go back to bed though... wierd..

So when my aunt was a child, she sleepwalked into the kitchen where my grandparents had some hot chocolate heating.. pulled her pants down, sat on the trash can, sniffed, said, "Hm, hot chocolate!" and then just let loose a flurry of crap. I think my grandparents were too dumbfounded to stop her.. i just think the hot chocolate-crap connection was worth mentioning : P.

i have no stories like that.

sometimes, when i'm lying in bed, just at the point where i'm so tired i'll be asleep in seconds, i hear a loud bang, and suddely, i'm wide awake, as though it were the middle of the day. i have no idea why.

This is just a 'might' off-topic, but I always used to have dreams about being a fugitive. It was just like "Cops", except my pants weren't 10 sizes larger than they should be... :paranoid:
