Hmm...Roman Candles are fun, mortars are a blast (hyuk hyuk), mooching freeloaders such as myself get their fill of illegal fireworks if they've got friends in the buiseness...for me it was a fellow named Sebastian who hooked me up with about ten of the most illegal fireworks obtainable in the state of...well, Washington (Oregon fireworks are souped up sparklers). He beat me in mock trial last month. Sometimes it's not bad to lose.

How about you guys? Are you still in posession of all your limbs? Or were thre unfortunate accidents...Also, my apologies if there's already a thread of this sort that I've overlooked.

oh man, this 4th of july was great. me and my family really went all out on the fireworks. (you gotta love those mortars.) i was disapointed we didn't get to go to the indian reservations to get m-80s, but we heard tons going off in our neighborhood.

we got kicked out of a parking lot for lighting fireworks, and i found that quite humorous cause my dad had to talk his way out of a fine.

haha, we had gotten this little assault vehicle, you know, where you light it and it shoots some sparks and then a little blast comes out so it starts moving. we were all sitting in front of the garage, and my dad lit it and it started moving and then turned right towards the garage. everyone was jumping around and scrambling to get away from it. now that made me laugh. haha

i love the 4th of july.

This July 4th was boring as far as fireworks went. I just lit a couple of sparklers. We didn't really have time to get the big stuff this year.

Oh, I long for the days when my brother and I would get a bunch of fireworks and blow up my old barbie dolls....

I always thought that the fourth of July was a keen reminder to America that they were once part of the British Empire. :ponder:

July 1st? Isn't that International Joke Day? *hides*

July 4th is the only holiday I know of that's more referred to as the date rather than the holiday name. I don't mind it though, it's to celebrate a specific day.

I didn't really do anything this year, just shot a few fireworks off in the front yard.

My 4th was different. A friend of mine came home from college so I was chilling with him and 5 girls. One girl brought more alcohol then God has in his personal stash. That ment I got to have the oppertunity to have everclear for the first time. I took 5 shots and didn't feel anything. What I didn't know that the time was that everclear is a bitch. Needless to say I was drunk in Publi-c. One of my other friends got so drunk she was trying to light her breath on fire because she believed she had enough alcohol to breath fire.

We bought a 150$ case of fireworks. Most of them were the fountains, as opposed to the rockets (too easy for the helicopter that was patrolling our city to spot). We had these California Candles which were like HUGE sparklers. Those are fun when you chase people with them.
