I'm posting this thread more out of boredom than anything but I've been hearing & seeing a lot of interviews from Tom Cruise lately & it seems that no celebrity is excersizing a pretentious GOD complex as much as he is lately. Basically, in order for a person to have anything to do with him you must let him impose his will of Scientology beliefs on that person otherwise you are just some kind of lowly piece of crap for a human being.
This seems to be his attitude overall. Do you guys think he's a wack job or not?

That episode Tom created by jumping up & down on the couch seemed so ingenuine & phony.
Yeah Katie Holmes is very attractive, but the problem is is that he gives the impression that in order for her to be with him, she's going to have to live her life according to Tom Cruise & that kind of controlling behavior is just not cool & is probably why Nicole Kidman got out when she did. Any independent girl with confidence, self-esteem, & a good head on her shoulders won't deal woth that kind of shit for too long. He really needs to get off that high horse

A lot of these celebrities are secretly gay or bi-sexual. I live not too far from Syracuse, NY where Tom Cruise is from. I've met somepeople that grew up in his neighborhood & have made the claim that Tom Cruise is bi-sexual. Someone also told me that about Harry Connick Jr.

I don't know about any of that other stuff, but I have heard before that Tom Cruise is very controlling when he is in a relationship with someone. When Nicole Kidman was with him, she wasn't doing nearly as well as an actress. Since they split up, she's been in so many different movies. She's been nominated for an Academy Award twice and won once. The same thing with Penelope Cruz. She nearly disappeared in those couple of years with Tom. Now she's been in more movies again. If Katie Holmes wants something more out of life than to just be Tom Cruise's wife, she better watch out. Otherwise her career is over.

Well I used to get that comment a lot in high school & sometimes I still do, but not as much. I guess in some ways I still do resemble him to a certain extent especially the profile sides of my face. This is what others have told me anyways.
And yes Kali, being a 'wack job' probably doesn't have anything to do with a person's appearance.

My hatred for Tom Cruise has immensely increased this week...I'm sorry, but I don't need to hear about the whole "Tomkat" relationship every single time I turn on the tv!! The one incident that really got me was when he showed up to the Batman Begins premiere with Katie Holmes and immediatly stole the deserving spotlight for the star of the movie, Christian Bale. Heck, even Katie was plugging War of the World of Lettermen and talking about their affair, and I don't think even mentioned Batman Begins. I sense an enormous overplayed publicity stunt......gah!

Whether their relationship is a pub stint or not, I don't know. And the age difference really isn't all that relevant either.
Either way, I'll be surprised if it lasts. Tom Cruise seems wack, but the idea of Katie Holmes or any girl for that fact being a virgin still at age 26 because she's waiting till marriage also seems whack to me to. This is just my opinion but that would honestly make me very weary of her. To hold out that long would make me think that more than likely she has little to no libido. And there's not too many things worse than having a girlfriend with no libido. That would never last with me.

So I was watching the news and it starts talking about Scarlet Johanson(sp?) and the new Mission Impossible film. The official statement that she didn't do the new MI, was because of schedueling, now it comes back and says it was because Cruise kept trying to convert her.
