get a new puppy, maybe? i think that would be a good way to help yourself get over it quicker, and it'd prolly be good for you to have a pet there for comfort and what not. even though i'm sure it would be hard for the pup to replace your first dog.
sorry that your doggy died!

Losing a pet is always difficult emotionally; they really are members of the family, as they say.
Although you can never replace him, getting another pet might make the transition easier as RubberDucky55 was saying. It won't fully alleviate the pain---mourning is a process that takes time---but another pet might help you through your pain as animals have a curious ability to do.

Honestly, time will help. I wouldn't recommend immediately getting another puppy. Wait a little while (say, a month or so), then get one. You don't want to replace your dog as soon as you lost him.

The diamond thing is interesting. Im thinking it turns the dog ashes into crystals, because otherwise there would be a lot of cooking to get diamonds. That would be like making your own money.
To help, i would say either get a new puppy, or join some new club. It'll get your mind off the loss, as well as give you some new friends/interests.
