and so, we come to the final round. in this round each of the members has a final chance at telling us exactly why they should win AS Survivor. no attacks may be made on the other contestant, nor are the contestant allowed to refer to any members of the board in their arguments. the speeches must focus solely on why you, as that persona, feel you deserve to remain in the game, and win the jackpot.

wobbie, you have to make your argument. you can not simply post links to older threads - anybody can look at those if they choose to [and they are encouraged to]. at this point in the competition you have to actually argue for your place as winner.

They were a part of my argument. I didn't "simply post links to older threads". I said that people should vote for me if they liked my previous rounds contributions. It wasn't stated in the rules that i couldn't back up my argument with links, to make it easier for people to find them. But i guess that since i HAVE to re-write mine, i will...

If you have enjoyed what i've done in the balloon so far, and you think my contributions make me the person that deserves to be the winner, then vote for me. Without sounding conceited, i'm happy with what i've contributed during my time here, and i think that my contributions make me the most deserving of the winners title. I'd post the links to back up my argument, but, apparently, that's against the rules.

Well we are down to the last round, I am happy to have made it this far. But why should you vote for me? Well it's because I'm Elvis. I have influenced music throughout the ages. It doesn't matter what you listen to I influenced it. I have put out a number of singles that were instant hits. Not only that but I have influenced the way people dance today. Why vote for me then? Because I Am Elvis the King.

So he PM'd a bunch of people asking them to vote for him? I thought the campaigning was meant to be in each round (making campaign posters, drawings, etc) not PMing people to get them to vote for you. If you ask me, that's cheating. And before you say "but it's not in the rules that i couldn't" Lots of things aren't in the rules. They're just common sense. I'd rather win from my argument alone, than win by PMing people, and asking them to vote for me.

But, that being said, it's only a game, and i lost. Congratulations on winning Ziech.

i'd act on it, but it's too late for me to create a rule like that.

it will be in the next game though. remember that this first game was very much a prototype, and there were a lot of things i've picked up on that will change or be altered in some way, in order to improve the next game.
